So, I’ve called this stuck at home, since the word lockdown, doesn’t quite sit right with me. I mean lockdown implies you’re locked down into something. Like a box.
Anyway, while stuck at home, I’ve been having to juggle work, life, kids, writing, cleaning, staying sane, and all those other things everyone right now is coming to terms with.
And boy, it’s not easy is it?
So far, I’ve managed to tidy up two kitchen drawers, the laundry, and sort of one of the kids bedrooms. By sort of I mean, a large part of the toys have been put into the cupboard. Like out of sight, out of mind.
What’s worse is, the laundry already looks like I never cleaned it, the floor needs another vacuum, and well, the rest of the house is still chaotic.
Chaotic is being kind.
But, enough of that. Let me tell you about my writing.
Let’s face it, you didn’t come here to hear me go on about how hard life is right now. I’m sure there are others who are doing it a lot tougher.
While I’ve been stuck at home, I’ve had a ton of ideas.
And, I’ve been involved in with a bunch of great authors in a project called Love under Lockdown.
Here’s a link to some of the books in that series. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0885TPY9Y?ref_=dbs_s_ks_series_rwt
Now that I’ve dusted off the website, I may look at updating it more regularly, and even blogging more frequently.
For now though, I’ve got an erotic short story to finish, as well as keep writing my next full length enemies to lover romance – No Means No. I’ve set it on an equestrian property on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. More details to follow soon.
In the meantime I’ll leave you with an image of one of the book covers of my recent publication.
Stay safe. Stay home.
