Well, as I’m writing this we’re in our second lockdown and I read about the rest of the world facing their second wave.
It’s been a chaotic year to say the least.
Who would have thought the year would turn the way it has. What we once took for granted has been taken away from many–meeting with family and friends, going out where you want and when you want.
At least one thing has not been taken away from us, the ability to read books.
Books are our companions these days, our friend, our way to escape.
And so, that’s what I’ve been doing, writing stories. Stories for people to read, stories for people to escape in, stories to enjoy.
While the world is shutting down, books open up possibilities to discover, explore and get lost in.
I’ve been exploring a range of different books from romance, to fantasy.
It’s been fantastic. Some days I get lost in the discworld created by Terry Pratchett (and what an amazing world he created), other days I travel into a fantasy world like none other through some German authors.
Why don’t you drop me a line and share what you’re reading. I’d love to hear from you.
Better get back to my writing.
Speak soon, take care.
Much love Adele.
