Dream Big

Okay, so it’s seven days into February 2019 and I’m ahead of my own goals for the year. My plan initially was to publish one romance book a month, but now it looks like I’ll be doing 2 a month.

Luscious Justice (Legal Romance Series) Book 2 – Love by Contract has been published on Amazon, and from previous publishing experience it’ll take about a day (sometimes less) for the books to become available.

I’m excited, thrilled, and honored to be in a position to share my books with a bunch of dedicated, positive and enthusiastic readers. Thank you.

As I get ready to writer book 3 in the Luscious Justice Series – Mediation Maser: Enemies to Lovers Romance, I just wanted to pause for a brief blog on keeping your dreams alive and working toward them.

I’ve always wanted to be a writer, ever since I can remember. It’s taken me a long time to get there, pursuing different jobs along the way, but now I’m here, I’m grateful I never gave up.

Whatever your dream is, stick with it. Write it down, display it where you can see it, and make sure every day you do something to make it come a reality. Some days that something will be tiny, and other days it will be huge.

As long as you have your eyes on what it is you want to achiever, you’ll get there.

Don’t despair on the days where it seems like you’ll never get there. Hard work, dedication, and perseverance pay off.

Before I leave you, here’s one last tip that has helped me get over the tougher days, listen to music. Inspirational tunes are a real boost.

Currently one of my favorite is the soundtrack from the Greatest Showman.

If you want to share things you do to lift your mood, feel free to leave a comment.

Well, better get back to novel number 3, since these books don’t get written by themselves.

Tschau for now.

Every Picture Tells a Story

Why does love have to be so complicated

A few days ago I received an email from a reader who wanted to know if I choose my book covers before I write the novel, or once it is finished.

The question spoke to me, and I thought there might be other readers interested in the answer.

Here’s the not very straight forward, slightly convoluted response. LOL

Most of my books have been completely written, edited, sent to beta readers and re-edited, before I venture into the world of the great wide web, to start browsing through hundreds of awesome ebook covers available out there. And when I say hundreds, there are actually thousands.

Shall I have fish and chips for dinner or ?

I have been known to spend way too much time clicking through hundreds of images, looking for the one that speaks to me. I figure if it attracts my attention, it should attract that of my readers.

Lately however, I’ve started to look at ebook covers without a specific story in mind. Fantasy are particularly dangerous for me, since I love a lot of the covers I come across. I nearly bought a set of three Fantasy ebooks covers for a series of three books the other day.

The particular designer even sold them with a ready to go title. I must resist, I must resist, I must resist!

They were, are gorgeous covers. But I stay realistic. If I buy three ebook covers, I’ll have to write three ebooks. It’s not as if I can hang them on the wall above my desk to display. Okay, I could, but I shouldn’t.

And since I don’t have current story ideas for one let alone three fantasy books, I must resist.

Phew! I resisted.

With my current book (Book 2 Love by Contract) I actually started looking for the right cover as I’m still writing. Luckily it didn’t take me long, and I have to say I’m pleased with the draft of it.

And as I’m finishing Book 2 of the Legal Romance Series Luscious Justice, and starting to plan Book 3, I’m actively looking for the next ebook cover already.

Confession: there are a couple of covers sitting on my laptop, waiting for a story to go with them. Please don’t tell anyone else.

Well, better get back to writing so I can finish Book 2 Love by Contract and then can start Book 3 (or give thought to those fantasy books?).

Happy reading my little Vixens, and don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter to stay up to date on release dates, free short stories, and other little bits and pieces.

PS. enjoy my last image of the post.

Don’t forget to check out Luscious Justice (Legal Romance) Book 1 Love by Agreement.

Write, Write, and Write

Well, it’s not a week yet since I published my new Legal Romance – Luscious Justice Book 1 Love by Agreement, and I’m more than halfway through the second book.

I’m planning to release it by the 1st of February 2019.

It’s been a great start to the year. The words are flowing onto the computer faster than a river flows into the ocean.

One of my new year’s resolution has been to find three things I’m grateful for every day. I’ve done this, along with my family, and I have to say, it works wonders.

The article suggested if you do this every day, you’ll increase your happiness. Not only is there a more positive mood in the house, it gets everyone thinking about good things in their life rather than focus on what’s wrong.

I think the increase in positive vibes in our house has ensured my writing has increased as well.

Anyway, thank you to everyone who’s read Book 1 Love by Agreement and those who’ve dropped me a line telling me how much they enjoyed they book.

I’m attaching the draft cover for book 2.

Fingers crossed I’ll be able to stick with my release date.

By the way, what are three things you’re grateful for?

  1. Computers (for writing)
  2. Story ideas.
  3. You, my readers who read my books.

Bye for now my Vixens. Take care and remember to stay positive.

It’s available

Less than the seventy two hours Amazon tells you it can take to publish the book, it’s available.

It’s always a great feeling to see a new book available for purchase (or in the kindle unlimited library), on Amazon, or an platform.

The hardest part about writing, publishing and marketing, is writing the book blurbs. I spent a considerable amount of time writing the little blurb for this little gem, only to discover this morning, I don’t really like it.

Here is my amended version as the start another day of writing. My aim is to bring out Luscious Justice (Legal Romance) Book 2 Love by Contract in three weeks. I was going to say two, but since there are other writing projects waiting to be finished as well, three weeks is more realistic.

A woman who doesn’t trust love. A man who doesn’t trust himself.

Sofia is a successful lawyer at Beta Legal. Brad is a good client of the firm. So far, their paths have never crossed.

But that is about to change.

A chance encounter where Brad showers Sofia in red wine, leads to coffee, dinner, and an agreement for Brad to be the pretend boyfriend of Sofia’s at a work function.

No strings attached. Sounds simple and uncomplicated doesn’t it?

But life is never simple.

Sofia has a crazy ex boyfriend making life difficult for her and Brad has a sister who is the black sheep of the family, a sister he doesn’t feel he can talk about to anyone, let alone Sofia.

When Sofia’s apartment building burns down, and Brad’s sister starts making unrealistic demands, life gets even more complicated.

Love by Agreement is the first stand alone book in the new legal romance series Luscious Justice. If you love sassy, sexy, and smart heroines, as well as hot alpha males, you’ll be sure to love this steamy romance.

HEA ending guaranteed.

Well, my lovely Vixens, better love you and leave you to write some more before eveyrone wakes up and makes demands on my time, demands that take me away from writing.

Take care and enjoy your Sunday – remember it’s Funday Sunday 🙂

A new series

It’s 2019, and I’ve just hit publish on my next new legal romance. A millionaire legal romance. I decided billionaires are highly overrated, I mean really, how many of those are running around picking up poor sexy, attractive women?

Billionaires are so passe, so 2018. This year is going to be the year of the millionaire alpha male, and the sassy, smart, and sexy heroines.

As I’m writing this blog, I’m already working on book 2 of the new stand alone Luscious Justice Legal Romance Series.

The characters of book 2 will be Evelyn, and Zack. And yes, let’s keep Zack Zimmerman as millionaire as well as a working barrister. Except, because he’s a millionaire he can pick and choose what cases he takes on.

And guess what? He’ll take on a case where Evelyn will be his instructing solicitor. Can you see where this is going? Sparks will fly, fires ignite, making the pages sizzle.

I’m planning to also work on another fantasy novel.

Head on over to Amazon to find my new release and sign up for my newsletter to stay up to date with what’s going on.

Stay happy and safe my lovely Vixens.

The Journey Begins

Hello my Vixens. Last year was a blast.

I wrote heaps of steamy romance. Some as a ghost writer, and some under my own steam (lol get it?).

Anyway I hope 2019 will be even bigger.

Thanks for joining me!
